Gas or liquid
Reset Red Pak 200 g
(10) 20 g tablets
- Gas deodorization: treats 10,000 ft³
- Liquid deodorization: makes 50 gallons (100 ppm)
- Each 20 g tablet: gas-deodorizes up to 1,000 ft³ (or one auto/SUV), or makes 5 gallons of 100 ppm solution

Liquid activation & application
Each 20 g Red tablet makes 5 gallons of standard 100 ppm solution.
- 1Fill an opaque 5 gallon container with tap water.
- 2Drop one 20 g Reset Red tablet into the water to generate a standard 100 ppm ClO₂ solution.
- 3Put the cap on the container and wait 3 minutes for the product to mix and generate properly.
- 4Apply directly to the atmosphere, surfaces, clothing, uniforms, furniture, upholstery and materials requiring treatment. Use on targeted porous and non-porous surfaces with a mop, sponge, cloth or coarse pump sprayer.
- 5DO NOT WIPE. LET DRY. DO NOT RINSE. The product works as it dries, so surfaces and atmospheres only need to be lightly wetted.
Do not use products above Reset usage levels. For best results, use both the liquid surface and gas protocols.
Gas activation (confined space)
Gas concentrate will stain if spilled. Never put your nose directly over the gas container. Always wear an appropriate P100 respirator mask, goggles and gloves as advised on the SDS.
- 1Create and/or seal the treatment area so that it is a ‘confined space’ without direct sunlight — close windows, doors, shades etc. Disconnect smoke alarms in the confined space for the treatment period. Put Warning / Do Not Enter signs on doors to the confined space.
- 2Determine the size of the space to be treated and the severity of the odor. Odor types and environments vary significantly and must be evaluated case by case. Select the proper Reset product size for the job (L × W × H = cubic feet).
- 3Remove people, plants and pets from the confined space for the treatment period. Furniture and room contents must be dry (not damp) or fading could occur.
- 4Place the Reset container in the center of the space or, if possible, next to the HVAC return with the system fan ‘on’ for the entire treatment period.
- 5Add 5 oz of tap water per 20 g Red tablet into a 24 oz disposable plastic cup — no more than 2 tablets per 24 oz cup.
- 6Insert a simple aquarium-type or Reset aerator: put its tube and stone into the water and turn it on.
- 7Add the tablets to the cup and immediately evacuate the confined space.
- 8Let the tablets and paks generate — they will pop, crackle and fizz, and the gas will then begin to disperse. If there is too much foam buildup, add cold water to break it up.
- 9Treatment time: 1 hour minimum; 12 to 24 hours is best. Use multiple tablets, paks and containers for large or fragmented spaces.
- 10Always air out the confined space before re-entering and re-occupying. If you still smell a ‘chlorine’ smell, continue to air out the space.
- 11Dispose of the remaining ClO₂ solution down the drain with running water.
Storage & disposal
- Liquid ClO₂ must be generated and stored in capped containers.
- Store capped Reset ClO₂ solutions away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. The solution will maintain full strength for up to 12 weeks in these ideal storage conditions.
- Once the solution is clear, it is not active and must be replaced. Verify with ClO₂ test strips.
- Store this product in the original unopened packaging until ready for use, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat or open flame, and out of reach of children.
- Do not leave product in direct sunlight, or expose to temperatures above 120°F (49°C).
- Do not contaminate water, food or feed by disposal or storage.
- Emergency handling: in case of spill, contamination or decomposition, do not reseal the package. If possible, isolate the package and discard it in an open, well-ventilated area.
Precautions & first aid
DANGER: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not ingest. Reset ClO₂ (chlorine dioxide) is a harmful, corrosive and powerful chemical substance that is a lung and eye irritant. Always use and handle with caution; wear an appropriate P100 respirator mask and goggles as advised on the SDS.
- This product contains an oxidizing agent. Do not mix with acids or chlorine. Avoid any contact with flame or burning materials. Once activated with water, it will produce dangerous levels of chlorine dioxide gas.
- Chlorine dioxide gas is a strong oxidizing agent and is irritating to the respiratory tract. Symptoms of exposure depend on concentration and exposure time; they include lacrimation, headache, vomiting, severe cough, asthmatic bronchitis, dyspnea and even death. Do not inhale chlorine dioxide. Do not allow unprotected persons to be exposed to chlorine dioxide gas. Wear appropriate PPE when working with chlorine dioxide gas.
- Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
- Reset ClO₂ application usage solutions are known to work on tile, marble, stone, steel, plastics, rubber, vinyl, fabrics and wood. Always test the product in a small non-visible section first to make sure there are no unintended effects on your material.
First aid
- Dry product — skin
- Brush off loose product. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water, then wash the area with soap and water. Call a poison control center or doctor for advice if the issue persists.
- Dry product — eyes
- Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15–20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing the eye. Seek medical attention immediately.
- Dry product — ingestion
- Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have the person drink large quantities of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- Liquid (activated) — skin
- Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately. If irritation persists, obtain medical attention. Wear nitrile gloves with prolonged exposure.
- Liquid (activated) — eyes
- Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15–20 minutes. If irritation persists, obtain medical attention.
- Liquid (activated) — ingestion
- Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have the person drink large quantities of water, milk or gelatin if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- Inhalation
- Harmful if inhaled and could cause coughing, headaches, difficulty breathing and pulmonary edema. Always use a NIOSH-approved respirator when exposure is great, or when working with any chlorine dioxide gas application. If inhalation occurs, remove the person to fresh air. If not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration and seek medical attention.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor or going for treatment.
